Windscreen wipers lifting above 75mph

Is this a fault with the golf design or do I just have knackered wiper blades.

I used to get this on a CRX where the wind flow was too much for the blades above about 70 but that car had a much more angled screen.

Before someone asks I have a wiper with a spoiler on it.

Must be a knackered blade as have been well above that speed and never noticed any movement on my wipers.

Thats fine ta wanted to know before I splash the money for wipers that dont fix the problem

Could be a week spring on the arm it's self!

Well new blades have made a huge difference but I still get a little bit of lift occasionally so it may be the spring as well. Any idea if you can just get the spring anywhere?

I doubt you will get the spring on it's own tbh, more like a complete new arm i'm afraid!

i use ranx you can do 70 or more on private roads with out the need to even turn the wipers on

I fitted Lupo GTi wiper arms to my corrado solved the problem of them lifting. They have stronger springs and aero blades so look far better than the standard wipers to.
