matth76 1 Posted May 19, 2007 Report Share Posted May 19, 2007 Mine pops a bit when I go down a gear or sometimes let of the gas pedal. It's just unburnt fuel. Mine does it because I have 268 cams and it pretty normal for this. However if your vr is standard it shouldn't really have much unburnt fuel. Do you know the car's history? Has it got any kind of remap or chip? I wouldn't worry about it too much. Link to post Share on other sites

adam_christie 0 Posted May 23, 2007 Report Share Posted May 23, 2007 Mine pops like hell too on gear change and when I let off the gas. Only thing I've got is a cat back exhaust and a BMC. Thing is, it did it before too. Bit worried to be fair. Quick query, possible nothing: Whats the black squareish object that sits just behind the TB? It's got air hoses going to it and mine seems to be making quite a loud hissing noise. Is this normal and just due to the air rushing through it? Could be the source of an air leak.....
