xyber 1
Has anyone tried to do this yet? I think I may have seen somewhere that as the bmc has those pressure drop fins inside it that they are unsuitable for forced induction (i may be imagining it tho :S )I was just thinking how good a charger with a bmc would sound, althought i suspect it would be a tight fit, if it was suitable for a supercharger
VR6Pete 1,455
I'd like to see you get it to fit before worrying about anything else.
Ben Seabrook 4
Hello mate,On a slightly different note - if it turns out that you cannot put them both on and you want to sell the BMC then let me know as i want to buy one soonish !!!Ben

Rikki 2
Ive done it it f******* tight but it does go. One bad point cold air feed to the BMC is very low and does scrape sometimes i will get some pics when im under there next and mail them to ya p.s. you need a pipe to connect filter to charger pipe thats slightly bent used part of an exhaust p.p.s It sounds ANIMAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xyber 1
Ive finally got an email back from BMC tech dept today, theyve said that they doubt the BMC will be big enough to flow enough air for a supercharger system
Rikki 2
Well mine pulls like a train and feels fine. I cant see how a bmc wont give you enough air when its designed to run on a 2.8/2.9 anyway. Ive taken the filter apart only last week to clean it out. It is just like a normal conefilter only with a kind of plastic cone that spins extra air into the filter??????? xyber 1
Yeah, I was thinking that it would be basically the same as the filter and housing supplied in the kit? Still worth a tinkering ;-D I cant do without that noise!Have you got any pics so I can suss out how to fit it all together?

FishWick 21
I use a BMC CDA on my VR Turbo and it flows plenty, so it's more than enough for a Supercharger.
