vr6Bass 0
hi, i have 93 L plate vr6 and i need to know how to adjust rear brake bias valve, i know where it is and how to get it, i just dont know how to adjust it. since i've lowered my car with fk coilovers my rear brakes have started locking up very easily, they lock up a lot easier and quicker than the fronts do, if anyone could point in the right direction on how to adjust them i would be very grateful. thegoth 5
Hiya,To quote the Bentley Manual"Testing and adjusting the pressure-regulating fuction requires measuring brake system pressure at each wheel caliper, using two pressure gauges with a range of at least 160bar ( 2320psi). Becuase of the need for this specializes equipment, we recomment having this test performed by an authorized Volkswagen dealer."I havent had any problems since my Highsports went on.The diagrams indicate a tension spring between the regulator lever and the chassis, could you have damaged / lost that whilst working on the suspension?TG
