dubloke 4
what sub you putting in it justin? have heard a few of these smaller boxes in different cars now with varying results and sound, some just down to sub choice!
binliner 0
its a 10" vibe PT-100 I think... sounded good in the bigber box but if the smaller one makes it more punchy then that'll be even better

six appeal 53
Very nice Justin, cheers for that. Where did you get the matching carpet? Does it sound any good?
binliner 0
Sounds excellent so far but I've not had a chance to put it through its paces yet....I got the carpet to do the side panel from Halfords!
VR6Steve 0
Justin, that looks very nice and really well finished. Good job that man.
VR6Rich 3
Justin, can you put up a picture of the side panel and whats underneath it! I assume you have an amp under there?
binliner 0
yeah I screwed the amp to an mdf panel and then hid it all with a carpeted plastic panel.
SankysVR6 1
what size amp and sub r u using. i want to get the same box but not sure how to match the amp and sub togther and i don't want to get wrong
dubloke 4
i'm using an alpine swr-1041d dual voice coil 10" 300wrms in the same enclosure as justin, along with a v12 mrv1000 alpine amp running a 2ohm load! amp is rated at 500wrms. you need to be sure to match the sub to the enclosure size as it needs to be able to work effectively in a o.65 cuft space, and some subs(regardless of what so called "experts" say) will be unsuitable in such a small enclosure!
