Toby 0
Ok guys, I hold my hands up and apologise...after selling my MK2 VR6 (that shiny red one with cream leather) a while ago and buying a standard MK2 16v to potter about in, I kind of figured that as I didn't have a VR any more there wasn't too much point in posting stuff on the site so for that reason I've been pretty quiet for a while (ok, completely silent then), and for that I apologise - it seems that I'm a 'fair weather' site visitor!.However, I couldn't keep away any more and have seen the light again and bought myself another VR6, and bloody excellent it is too! Today i picked up a P reg MK3 Highline in mulberry and I'm fuck*ng loving it already - it's good to be back!!The 16v will now be for sale if anyone's interested, I'll post up pics and a proper post tomorrow though

Toby 0
thanks guys - as you say it was probably inevitable! Got it for £2700 in the end - not too bad. Needs a couple of bits doing to it but overall pretty good nick and full VW service history too. Was always the colour I wanted too. Anyway, I need a VR6OC sticker now - anyone know how I can pick one up??

Toby 0
mileage is currently 90,400 so not too bad - as you say, the best colour for a MK3 I reckon! It was probably inevitable that I go back to a VR in the end. The MK2 I had was lovely but because of the condition of it I was scared to leave it anywhere and it ended up sitting in the garage more than I drove it! No chance of that with this one though!Yours looks sweet btw
goonersteve 0
Welcome back mate. Did you not fancy another mk2 VR then?
mike 6
Yours looks sweet btwcheers mate :$ i dont think so90k is pretty good i paid about a grand more for mine on 81k (now 88k)over a year ago..but prices have come down..i think i actually prefer mystic blue and dusty mauve now lol, but mulberry is one of the best
Toby 0
well I did like the MK2 but to be honest I couldn't resist another MK3 - I had a standard black one a few years ago and it's the car I've owned for the longest (4 years) so I thought I'd go back to the tried and tested formula!
