six appeal 53 Posted August 1, 2004 Report Share Posted August 1, 2004 check all your rubber grommets from the bulk head and top panel, where the wiper motors located are in place, one of mine came loose about 6 months ago and soaked the inside of my car everytime I washed it. Wasn't till I noticed the damp smell weeks later, that I realised what was happening! Hate to say it but to get rid of it all and stop mould I had to take all the carpets and sound deadening out of mine and let it all dry, a long and difficult process! The Absinthe Fairy 0 Posted August 2, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2004 Coolant is fine- we thought if it was heater matrix there would be indication in water or oil temp or coolant levels- but all fine ( water 90, oil 90-100) Hasn't rained all weeknd , no car washing, no empty drink bottles in footwell It's dried up now- going to keep a good eye- maybe just was freak occcurance....? And that if it was heater matrix windows would steam up.WEhat do you think?Whats a scuttle Also the sunroof channel may be blocked?
