i saw it being driven away on the sunsay at about 1645hrs. my cousing the lucky bast@#d :-p got to sit in it just before they loaded it up in the waiting yellow lorry to be taken back to germany. whilst it was idling i put my hand against the intake and it was just literally sucking in the air like a dyson. unbeleiveable. i can post some pics to prove it if you want

no lol i havent been on the net for a while been working loads and havent had time.

its goin to b mental, carnt wait to see one :D

it was designed and built in 8 weeks by vw, i think they done an amazing job by chuck a load of bits from their parts bin in such a short time.

Of course they are going to improve on it in time but they wanted to check out peoples feedback before loads of money gets chucked at it for the final product.

If it does get produced i am sure it will be an amazing car, just think of what companys the volkswagen audi group owns and what technology they have to produce a supercar. some of you say a lambo would be better, who owns these raging bulls????

How much do you think it will be if it does get produced? would it be audi R8 money or Lambo money? See this is why i love VW, the design of their cars is top notch. Every line flows into the next, very smooooooooth. And your right about the lambo thing CPmatt. VW are building better lambos then lamborghini ever did.

It will never be made. Firstly the car's totally impractical, not to mention the cost of production, half the gear inside that thing doesn't work but first and foremost from what I can remember reading and watching reviews about it, it doesn't go around corners at any kind of speed. It is necessary for VW to perform these kind of PR exercises to keep public interest to what they can do.

I would say VW have more profitable things to think about like how to cut the cost of producing the Mk6 over the Mk5 Golf, which interestingly has been the most expensive Golf they have ever produced.
