i just fitted some...8mm

make sure its high pressure hose as well...very important that.

if they only sell it in metres you'll need 2 metres (you'll have some spare)...its really awkward to fit, especially if you use the anodised hose finishers. but looks great.

the standard VR6 fuel hose is 'formed' to fit around the side of the head neatly - I guess just be aware that its a bit harder to make non-oem stuff fit around the head neatly...

Jules

is not really a big deal actually..the stuff i got even clips into the cable guides easily as well. just make sure you put it throught all the guides before cutting it. oh, and put masking/duct/insulation tape round the braid before sawing through it, it likes to fray.

where abouts in essex are you, as i got my braided hoses from abbey hoses in barking. i got a 2m length and also got them to crimp clips onto the end of the hoses all for a tenner.

i should have pics of the hoses on my engine if you want me to mail them to you.

Try www.pirtek.co.uk

theres one in Basildon and one in Thurrock - ive used these people to make braided oil feed and return to a tubo i fitted on my Saab - great quality and price.

They will do pukka anodised hose ends not the covers you get at demon tweeks!!

that sounds cool, i want it. how much? lol.

i had a fuel pipe split on me 2 nights ago, so im after some braided hose, but my hose clips have snapped too, so off to the stealer i go, lol. i have to reposition my fse valve too. ready for the FI. he he. by the way, when i fixed the split hose, i tried removing my fuel pump relay and cranking the engine over to remove pressure, but the petrol still came out. would i have to remove the petrol cap so not to cause a vaccum next time?
