binliner 0
Im thinking of putting braided fuel hoses on... anyone know what diameter the fuel hoses are?
acf8181 0
i just fitted some...8mmmake sure its high pressure hose as well...very important that.if they only sell it in metres you'll need 2 metres (you'll have some spare)...its really awkward to fit, especially if you use the anodised hose finishers. but looks great.[ Edited Tue Aug 03 2004, 03:33PM ]

jcorallo 0
the standard VR6 fuel hose is 'formed' to fit around the side of the head neatly - I guess just be aware that its a bit harder to make non-oem stuff fit around the head neatly...Jules

acf8181 0
did indeedy...2 metres of IHS600 at £10ish a metre,2 hose finishers anodised blue (dunno part no. but £5ish each) for visible end, and two normal hose clips for the hidden ends.is a bit fiddly to fit, but worth it. VRmonster 1
that sounds cool, i want it. how much? lol. i had a fuel pipe split on me 2 nights ago, so im after some braided hose, but my hose clips have snapped too, so off to the stealer i go, lol. i have to reposition my fse valve too. ready for the FI. he he. by the way, when i fixed the split hose, i tried removing my fuel pump relay and cranking the engine over to remove pressure, but the petrol still came out. would i have to remove the petrol cap so not to cause a vaccum next time?
