blackmagicvr 7
have a look at the door seals, they are very common to go flat or perish, that would give a wind noise by the ears.
SiGainey 1
Looking into this a bit more, there's a guide here http://www.pocketrocket.ca/mk3_sagging_doors.html but I think it's a different problem to mine - the top of the door is about 6 or 7 mm higher than the rear quarter panel. Any ideas anyone?
Earwig 89
If your door is higher than the rear panel then it seems like it's out of line.Seems rather than dropping like most it might have been adjusted before but to high. . . Take a look at the door pins that the door hangs on. You can also try pulling down on the door a little as they do have a bit of give in them.Mark.
jesterwalker69 0
Also check the door catches. When i replaced mine to the chrome ones they took a bit of lining up. I had them to high to start with and as the door shut it obviously lifted up onto the catches.A sign that the catches might be to high is if the door drops slightly when open. SiGainey 1
Cheers for the reply - i've looked at it more closely and if you look down the side of the car, the door doesn't touch the seal where it curves then runs parallel to the roof
SiGainey 1
Tried adjusting the door catches and it's LOADS better. Cheers folks
