fritzenberg 3 Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 does anyone out there have a vw motorsport vsr with all VW bits NOT schrick bit that make it work?i.e. the green vacume tank,solenoid,plug-in connectors etc.the plus for me is i have all the above as i`m currently swapping over from a donor car.the down is i`m not sure about the electrical side of things.for starters the donor car is a dizzy,min`s a coilpack.the only wiring that`s there is a red wire going from the solenoid to a red/blue wire on a connector which is on one of the pipes that go to the carbon cannister.there is a brown wire which goes from the solenoid to the ecu.is this all there is to it,i mean how can it tell when the engine hits 4000rpm?? i.e. no grey control box thing like the schrick setup.what are your thoughts folks? help would be very very much appreciated.appologies for the long thred but needs must Link to post Share on other sites
