bulldog 2
Flooded around here, roads closed, drive flooding into the garage and when I cleared that the drain lid in the garage started leaking water out cause the drains were flooded, then the garage was flooded again.Drove through a flood at noon today just down the road which was up to the bottom edge of my vito van, funny thing was I was following a ferrari 430 spider on a 07 plate through the flood and the water was up to the engine cover but not on top due to the wake it was leaving, the owner must have been mad, if I had his car theres noway I'd take it through a flood of any depth, though he made it ok. matth76 1
Had a bit of torrential downpour Fri morning, with quite a lot of surface water but no flooding. I'm near Brighton. By the arvo it was all gone.
bulldog 2
Took the fireblade out this evening to go and ride through the floods along the roads crossing the thames, could only manage 10mph max and the max depth was about 9", then a good fast thrash on dry roads, hit 160 a few times and some ton plus corners. At times 2 wheels are much better than 4.

Jk* 0
Bloody hell. I have been watching the news and it looks like its not going to get any better. I really feel for those caught up in it. I feel really lucky that im thousands of feet above sea level now.
matth76 1
That does look pretty bad. Down in the south it's been fine. Was really hot and sunny yesterday. Couldn't believe how bad it's been elsewhere. Guess the hosepipe ban will come in to force pretty soon (if not already!)
