ventovr6essex1 0 Posted July 22, 2007 Report Share Posted July 22, 2007 they will fit you just might need to change the springs as the spring rate will differ from a 16v to a vr6 . mind a mk2 golf didnt have a vr6 in and most people have coilovers i know my mate has . just give it a go fella what you got to loose Link to post Share on other sites

Someone on here tried putting some 16v Golf coilovers to his VR and the front suspension was way too low, with lots of knocking and looked odd as the back suspension was really high in comparisson. Earwig 89 Posted July 24, 2007 Report Share Posted July 24, 2007 They will fit.As hs been said though, the springs at the front ideally need to be alot firmer as the VR lump is heavier.
