marcbowden 0
At the moment I have MR2s, and miss the practicality of my VR6. Could I use it to tow a caravan to the odd festival?
thegoth 5
With all that lovely torque it would be ideal. The max braked load is something like 1.5 tons. The only problem you'll find is that all the tow bars, that I've seen at least, require a hole to be cut out of the rear bumper.T (pikey) G

Toad 0
My corrado has a towbar fitted whcih doesn't interfer with the bumper. I'm pretty sure it would tow reasonable loads ok,but you must bear in mind the load on the towbar, the hieght of the hitch and make sure the braking system works on the caravan, otherwise you'll be sitting on the motorway underneath it in no time at all.I found the towbar is very useful for tieing the car down to recovery lorries and trailers
VRob6 0
if anyone wants my tow bar they are welcome to drive to cornwall and remove it. its yours free. i'm not expecting any takers. i think its removal will involve an angle grinder tbh.is the black lower bumper trim removable? or do you have to replace the whole bumper?cheersRob
