tonk 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Report Share Posted August 2, 2007 Im awaiting delivery of some 100w xenon-a-like bulbs i found on ebay be having done some reading up im a bit worried now,Do you lot think that the wiring on a mk3 will take 100w bulbs or should i expect melted wires like in some mk2's. ventovr6essex1 0 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Share Posted August 9, 2007 you can make your owm looms with heaver wiring just use the normal wire as a signal wire and use a relay that can handle the load for both dip and main beam . if you dont want to do this i would unplug your dim dip resister as you will probably burn the bulbs out if you leave the sidelights on for any lenght of time Link to post Share on other sites
