Jimjon 28 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Share Posted November 20, 2007 most drilled discs are drilled after they are made, this is what can lead to them cracking around the holes, grooves can aid cooling of the pad surface, but also wear the pad quicker and they can be noisy under heavy braking.in all honesty you shouldn't really need drilled or grooved discs.
