Nurburgring March 2008 (Easter)

Although this is still 3 Months away we may as well get it up now so that people can make arrangements and save some money for the trip.

Easter 2008 the VR6-OC plan on taking another trip to the Nurburgring in Germany. It fell in april this year but next year it's End of March time.

Easter next year falls on Sunday 23rd March.

we will be looking to go out on Friday 21st March and return on Monday 24th March.

Camping ( http://www.camping-am-nuerburgring.de/ ) or Hotel are on offer ( http://www.goldfass.de/ ). Camping is E12 a day and the hotel E45. No need to book camping as it's a big site.

140miles / 2hrs into the journey and just before Brussels ring road - there's nothing worse than being stuck in traffic and needing the bog! Belgium currently has the most expensive fuel on route => splash and dash

First German town we pass through, 140miles on from Groot-Bijgaarden and only 25miles short of the 'Ring and 10 from the hotel. Has 3 or 4 petrol stations, worth brimming them.

Anyone afraid of taking their cars round, you don't have to ! Just come for the experiance and the drive there and back ! Best part for me !

If you fancy taking your car round, just take it easy and treat it like any "B" road and you will come back fine ;-)
