Was bloody freezing at night last April' date=' although the Hotel is more expensive it's worth it for the hot shower and the decent breakfast before a hard day at the "Ring"!! lol

Can't wait to go again, Easter will be here before we know it!!!! Wooo Hooo!!! :-)

The most important thing about the hotel is the room. You can put all your stuff in there, so you don't have your luggage and valuables rattling around in the car. Safety first, and all that!

Cheers,

Andy

Should we do a sticky post which lists the common things you need to do before attempting a trip to t'ring? The search appears to have a problem when searching for 'ring :S Be useful for a number of people on here :)

AndyL's site is a good place to start http://www.endurancelay.co.uk/ringtrip.pl as it has some basic facts and a link the source of all knowledge www.nurburgring.org.uk

And last years event report details the good and bad points http://www.vr6oc.com/events/Nurburgring/Easter2007/Easter%202007%20report.pdf

Hmm ok have been reading up on this a bit.

Most important things first. So Adenau is near Bitburg. So we know what we will all be drinking for the whole time! (Yay! Bitburger!)

Is it too early to start thinking at all or am I just getting over-giddy? It's only six months off you know! lol

Is it worth sailing to Belgium (i.e. Ostend or somewhere) instead of doing the Dover/Calais thing and then can whiz straight through Belgium?

Tell me off if I'm jumping the gun etc...I've got the idea in my head of going now...heehee!

Makes no odds to me Craggsy! I still have to travel the 300 ish miles south to Dover whatever.

I shall follow the rest of the gang regardless! :)

And Pete, have read the story about your unfortunate incident and gutted for you. I've no intention of overdoing it, I'll be too scared!! :o

I want to book early too so that I'm sure I get the tickets cheap but it's 6 months off :( Defo want to do a convoy where we can!

Suggested route from google http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=ch3+5yf&daddr=N%C3%BCrburgring,+53520+N%C3%BCrburg,+Germany&sll=54.162434,-3.647461&sspn=13.044356,41.132813&ie=UTF8&ll=50.450509,4.301147&spn=2.672388,6.943359&z=8&om=1
