Even the standard ticket will let you change passenger names and numbers. See Cadguy's post about putting TBC in as the names. But at least if it snows/rains you can rebook it later in the year.

If the missus is going it's safer to assume hotel ;-)

TG

P.s. I'm waiting to move my flex ticket so as not to help inflate the prices for the rest.

When I booked my ticket it asked me for the lead driver name only and the booking is for a car and up to 5 passengers so I guess others can just come along ???

No, all passengers travelling have to have their names on the ticket/itinerary when boarding. The ability to change the names of passengers ends a week or so before sailing.

I rung speedferries direct, as i said previously, and was told that inseting TBC into the other 4 passenger slots now allows you to change them later when number/names of passengers is known. Lead passenger (driver) must enter name at time of booking.

My list for the trip is

Ferry ticket......PAID

Poly bushes

ARBs

CG LOCK.......PAID

Cams put in

remap.

A PVR of some sort

Bullet cam

Theses things i'm hoping to get sorted but I can see something being missed off as I have a holiday in November and then again 3 weeks or so after I get back, but i'll try and get em all done.

Already have travel insurance from last year, plus AA cover as well. So most things are sorted already.

My list is as follows (for the car);

Coilovers (prob avo)

New tyres

Engine mounts (prob oe)

New stereo (my car has the original Sony unit)

Clear (and red) rear light clusters, maybe crystals

Maybe some new rims, maybe some sort of BBS

All the other stuff passport/camping equip will be sorted asap ferry tickets already sorted, and closer to the time get things like spare bulbs etc

I dont know really whether to go down the completely OE route or just make any mods really subtle, its a real tough one when your car is completely OE (apart from front disks) i mean how many 14 year old VR6's are completely original and if you find one should you keep it OE ?...........mmm............. :-p

Can I enquire..us northern types...are we all going to have a convoy down there cos effectively it's gonna take 2 extra days for us...will have to leave some time the day before and stay overnight in/near Dover and then getting back in the middle of the night on 24/3....will be zzzzzzzzzz falling asleep at the wheel! Which is what I may have done for a very split second last night as I managed to WHACK my o/s front alloy and make it poorly scratched...the bump sure woke me up though! Damn those middle of the road bollards with sticky out bits on them!!!

Will book now anyhow! :D
