Nurburgring March 2008 (Easter)

Recommended Posts

Good call. Copied it there.

Apart from my insurance company I'm now completely done and dusted - other than my ABS and woolly back end - but 200 notes lighter. Need to go at least three times in the next year to make the most from my annual policies ;-)

im up for a summer trip also this year

I'm planning to go 23/24 August, but I doubt you want to. It's the 24 hour race ... for cyclists! I may go one other weekend too, but that depends on getting passes from the wife!

Cheers,

Andy

Why not meet at L'Eclerc? On the way out of the port' date=' go straight over at the immediate roundabout (instead of turning right as we always do and heading into town). Keep going sraight over until you see the big fuck off supermarket on the right. Turn right at the roundabout and pull into the car park. They do cheap fuel too. As a bonus, that roundabout has a turning onto the dual carrigeway to the motorway. I went that way last summer and it's about 20 minutes quicker than our usual route!

Here's a route using Google Maps.

Cheers,

Andy

I haven't start going brum brum or squealing around the office yet, but Adagio For Strings is getting a bashing in it's various forms and planning is a foot.

So I give you a handy two page print out for the entire route to Nurburg, including the initial meet up at L'Eclerc? Thanks Andy. At Step 30 campers should turn Right to find the camp site.

And here's one to Daun for the hoteliers. The Golden Barrel is where 'L46' is on the Destination 3 map insert.

Although as we a going by convoy hopefully no one will get lost.

most have dropped out due to cash flow and other events conspiring against them and are still keen to go adventuring when the time is right.

Saw Ewan MacGregor advertising Davidoff Adevntur, I think, on the back of the Long Way trips last night. Made me want to puke.
