So, so near now

Using the routes posted on the 1st page, the following places make sense for rest / fuel / regrouping stops with post codes and google map links.

Le Clerc (Outreau 62230): http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=outreau&sll=50.880727,4.317627&sspn=0.088379,0.226593&ie=UTF8&ll=50.701459,1.607544&spn=0.005545,0.014162&t=h&z=16

Be aware it's possible that only cash sales are available to us due to UK cards not being accepted by the auto-pumps.

Texaco Groot-Bijgaarden (Dilbeek 1702): http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=groot+bijgaarden&sll=54.162434,-3.647461&sspn=12.061421,48.779297&ie=UTF8&ll=50.880754,4.25261&spn=0.005524,0.014162&t=h&z=16

140miles / 2hrs into the journey and just before Brussels ring road - there's nothing worse than being stuck in traffic and needing the bog! Belgium currently has the most expensive fuel on route => splash and dash

Gerolstein (Daun 54568): http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=gerolstein&sll=50.701459,1.607544&sspn=0.005545,0.014162&ie=UTF8&ll=50.223268,6.658959&spn=0.011203,0.028324&t=h&z=15

First German town we pass through, 140miles on from Groot-Bijgaarden and only 25miles short of the 'Ring and 10 from the hotel. Has 3 or 4 petrol stations, worth brimming them.

What are people doing about money is it best to get Euros in advance or pay on cards when there? We've been looking on moneysupermarket etc which seems to suggest cards are better?

Happy Bday Pete for this week :-) (B)

I think its best to have some euro,s but where cards are excepted you will get a better rate 8-)

Dont worry Helen we can clean our cars together, and I have also put my wheels back on to.

And one more thing Helen that garage does do wheel alignment as i asked yesterday when they balanced my wheels.
