thegoth 5
An Easter cruise to Amsterdam sounds like a reasonable plan B in case the 'Ring is snow bound ;-)
cadguy77 0
*TIP DIRECT FROM SPEED FERRIES*If, like me, when you come to book online, you're unsure on the number and name of passengers that will be travelling with you, just enter the maximum 5 passengers, then when it comes to filling in the names of the other 4 passengers just insert TBC (to be confirmed) in forename and surname fields. Then when you sure on who's going with you just amend the booking closer to the date. The lead passenger (you) has to have their named inserted correctly.

hellsVR6 0
Well I'm ready to go to the Ring! I have my Nurburgring number plate surrounds direct from the nice peeps at Volkswizard! Now all I need do is make sure my plates stick to my car properly as I lost one already last night...errr....and had to run quickly to Halfrauds to get a new one made! These damn cars...have screw holes in the back of the car but NOT the front so I can screw the plate holder to it...and some extremely heavy duty sticky fixers are in order I reckon...the ones they gave me in the store just ain't gonna do the trick!! Or I need to do a bit of bending and stuff to get the plate to actually fit in the bottom clips cos at the mo it won't!But they look smart do they not?? Just need the Deutsche plates to make it proper! :-*
hellsVR6 0
OH GOD I AM SO THICK!!!!!!!!!!!Have just realised. I threw away 4 bits of plastic that popped out of the middle of the plate surround on the front one...and they are the bits you put back in underneath to hold the god damn thing on.......Found 3 from the back one slung in the boot but sadly I think the rest went in the bin..DOH DOH DOH DOH DOHStill, need to find a solution to stop my front plate falling off anyhow and barring drilling two holes which are precariously near to my radiator (and don't have a drill) I hope B&Q have some EXTREMELY heavy duty double sided foamy sticky things....*slaps self numerous times for being totally numb* Update...all fixed now! Succumbed to the drill and now no danger of plate loss yay!

thegoth 5
Boulogne to be precise, if using SpeedFerries.
thegoth 5
Be aware that the £20 tickets are none amendable...... But as they less than 1/4 as much as the flexi ticket it's probably worth the risk.I've just had a look at the prices this morning and the flex tickets have been revalued to only £29 each way. Which might be a better punt depending on how convinced you are the weather will be good and the track actually open for tourists next year. The flex tickets also have a shorter check in period
Ben Seabrook 4
ferry crossings are now live for march onwards....first ferry out 21st 0700 hrs last one back on the 24th 2050 hrs' date=' are we all going for this again?????[/quote']So are peeps booking these tickets on these ferrys then ?? the tickets seem very cheap ! thegoth 5
I'm going to wait until it's official the 'Ring will be open at Easter 2008. But as I've seen no more follow up the the thread on Northloop, I strongly believe that it will be open. I have some flex voucher crossings left so it won't cost be any extra to wait. Everyone else will have to make their own cost/risk assessment as to when to book.TGP.s. The official calender is usually released around the end of Feb.
jims13 6
i think ill take a chance and book the ferries mentioned before. i also believe the weather will be fine and the ring will be open (if i say that enough, i will concince myself)
