Been waiting for ££££s to land in my bank for days (damn you my employers!!) and I'm not going to be in funds till Mon/Tues...TYPICAL!! Canny book till then! Was also thinking "need to stay over in Dover" thing...don't fancy the overnight drive down there and awake all the next day! And the same on the way back...awake all day and 300 mile or so drive home at night! I'll be pooped as it is!
thegoth 5
can someone give us a link to book ferries' date=' and let us know where to sail from and what time we plan on meeting, sailing etc, also has anyone looked at booking hotel, if so can we have a link to that as well, were new to all this malarky ,going to need as much help as possible,(looking at you Craggsy and Mark to guide us through this one) cheers chaps.[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1189857833_4002_FT191036_edition_38_2007_028.jpg'][/lightbox]Ferry site http://www.speedferries.com/ Dover Western Docks to Boulogne. The ferry will be at 7 and there is a 45 min check in. So we are looking at a 5:45 meet, to allow some lea way. Dover leisure center is normal. The hotel we used last time was this one: http://www.goldfass.de/ A small distance form the 'Ring (15miles) but cheap, clean, comfy and with great food. The owner is a bit strange! The online reservation services are not taking bookings for Easter yet. But, it might be worth actually phoning them with a list of requirements to see if we can get a deal if we book a number of rooms.TG
