PhatSo 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 Got home last night and i thought i would just have a quick check make sure all the pipes where still done up.I changed my intake manifold at the weekend and checked all the fluids etc.All the pipes and bolts where as they should be, but i could see a damp patch on the righthand side of the engine block.Further investergation leeds me to find water dripping out of the aux water pump. Filled it back up and left it over night and it had drained the whole header tank and the top tubes. filled it up again and took it carefull to work this morning. I have a large jack full of water in the back as well.Water temp didnt go over 90 and oil sat at 84 all the way to work, which is about 13miles.Lucky for me i was parked up at Storm Development when i found the leak, plan is to get a new pump on the VR tonight.
