philbatesvr6 0
well i havent posted up a build of of my vr so far so i thought id giv it ago !here it is how i bought itits got full service history, full elec pack inc climate controll, full beaver leather, powerflow stainless exhaust from cat back, lowered on ebatch springs, some dodgy wolf race alloys, the first mods i did was fit the deeper vr6 front lip, fit oem black front vw badge, remove the grill badge, de badge the rear (its funny how many saxos/corsas want to race you after youve done this lol) fit a fischer cd holder, and fit a front german style plate, smoked fk fogs and indicators, and smoked led side indicators,Then came some tarting up of the engine bay, im a mechanic so at work we have a valeting bay with a deseil powered setamer so first things first i gave the engine a good steaming get it lkooking like new then i bought a 2nd inlet manifold and got sanding and spraying, it looks much cleaner me thinksnext up was some new rims, at the time i didnt have the cash for some bbs or borbets so i bought these ssw mesh 2's 1 piece but they look like 2 i think they look well next up was the interior im not a massive fan of the beaver trim it looks nice but its a bitch to keep clean, so fist interior mod was to remove the cream carpets and fit ta black one, then came the dash the standard dash was brown on the top half and cream on the lower, i hated the dash with a pashion so i whent the local scrap yard and took a balck dash out of a gti inc passenger air bag and fitted that, so it now has the top half black and the bottom half cream much better ima, then it was the door cards they looked like this i bought some highline black door cards and swapped a few things over much better ima i now have a guiness interior lol cream and blacknext up was the front lights i liked the morreties but i wanted it looking more oem so i got hold of the orginal e codes and smoked them thats as far as it has come up to now ! iv jus got back from rennsport and ordered some coilovers so there next on the list get it nice and low, then maybe some new rims after iv painted the brakes and changed the front discs and pads !ill keep ya up dated peeps
