Jk* 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 I have recent gone out and bought a 37" LCD TV ready for the HD to set sale. @ the moment i have cable (not the HD box) and the picture seems to be worse then my old CRT TV. So i thought id try the PS2 on it too to see what its like and that seems terrible too TBH. Is this because my TV wants to have HD or is it due to the size of my TV and the now seen crap graphics of the PS2? Im getting a PS3 @ the end of Sept. Link to post Share on other sites

They come with RGB and R&W audio cables and make the picture look significantly better! You have to change a setting on the PS2, but it's none of this open-it-up-stuff, just use the controller Link to post Share on other sites
Earwig 89 Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 HD screens are always a great deal poorer with standard definition pictures.To get the full beneifit of BluRay and PS3 you should have opted for a 1080P screen. Although a fair bit more money they are pretty amazing if you feed them a good source.I have over 1Terrabyte of BluRay rips on my PC now and am only missing the screen to do them justice ! :-(Mark.
