Just spent 1/2 hour farting about with the buggering thing trying to get it to fit and it's having none of it. Seems it hasn't been moulded properly, cos half the teeth don't seem to match up to the holes where they are supposed to go!!!!Any suggestions? I can get it on the corners but when I try to get it to fit the front bits it just won't stay in. Or if I try to fit it middle first (which it won't really) I can't get the corners to match up. Or do I just take a stanley knife to it and chop out the bits that don't fit ....cos otherwise I am about to take a hammer to it!!!!This damn car has caused me so much grief this week!!!!!!I still love it though Link to post Share on other sites

In my haste to get my car back together I did get it from one of our German cousins on fleabay...Now either I contact Fritz and get a refund as it's basically not gonna fit, and then see who's breaking one up with a real one on I guess!I'm always too bloody hasty doing stuff me! So...that's twice the price but of course half the mither...hmmm may have to bite the bullet here if I can't get hold of an original one from a break-up...Still, either way the Highways Agency are gonna have to cough up eventually, it's their fault I'm in this predicament! Picys attached...not impressed!If I get the corners to fit, the middle just won't go together...and if I fit it middle first, the corners won't go on...Gaaaaaaah!!!!One thing I have done though is take that stooopid daft red trim tape off my bumpers/door trims!
