Toby 0
how new is the battery? Was it working before you fitted the new battery and now not working afterwards? If so it could be related to your new battery?

jaysVR6 2
Wont be the coil pack, the engine would still turn over mate. Gotta be starter motor or battery imo. Are you getting dash lights?

mpm 0
right bit the bullet, and went to euro car parts, got a bosch one for 130! now i need to fit it, any guides or anthing to look for?
adamsimmons 0
They are pretty easy to fit, as far as I can remember it was three bolts that held in the starter motor and there were two wires on the side of the motor to disconnect. I managed to remove mine with out removing any other parts off the car besides the small 10mm bolts that hold the power steering pipe that was underneath the motor.
mpm 0
did you manage that from ontop or under the car??
adamsimmons 0
Both you have to jack it up to get to the bolt (8 or 10 mm, i can't remember which size it was) that holds the pipe for power steering and also the lower bolt for the starter motor. It took about 45 mins to change if i remember correctly.
