Im wondering waether or not to take the tints off my car, they were already done when i got it

i do like em although its not a mod i would av done myself

If you bought my car would you keep em or get rid?

personally i dont like tinted windows, i think it looks a bit "pimp" its ok on big 4x4`s and hummers etc but on a saloon car it looks a bit ott imo, i also prefer to be able to see all around me clearly to see what nutters are getting near my car!!

If it was my car I would take them off - in my opinion tinited windows are a bit chavvy.

see I reckon they could suit certain colour cars - red ain't one of them I don't think! A nicely smoked window (rather than dark black) might look good on a darker car...that's my two pennorth anyway!

Tinted windows do look good but when they not to dark.

when I was looking to buy my VR6 there was 1 that sounded good, but I was put off viewing by the fact it had very dark tinted windows. Each to their own and all that, but my view is no tint, or very light (i.e. legal) tint at most.

How would you remove the tint on yours? Is it just a 'film' thats been applied to the windows that can be peeled off?

yeah its just film so i assume it would just peel off but knowing my luck it will come off in bits! either way ive got all winter to do it!

tints suit different colour cars.your car would look better with the lighter tints

They peel off, but then yoy are left with all the glue. Which i had to use nail varnish remover and this thing in me dads kitcthen, it not brillo pad but very similar. took me about 3 hours never again(was being tight).

Take it to place that deal with window tint as it alot less hassle and dam site easier.

OFF OFF OFF! I think if they werent so dark then maybe. But they look limo tint, which IMO and some others looks chavvy. Take them out i voted for!

I had to take my tints off my previous golf because of the front windows being illegal although they were light smoked tints but still failed when the cops used their gadget to see how much light was cuminn thru.

Just get urself warm water mixed with fairy liquid and a scratch proof sponge to get rid of the bits once u have peeled d tints and it will b all clear in no time.

Too dark, take em off before plod tells you to remove the fronts

I had light tints in my silver car and i liked them, very subtle and they were never noticed by the police any of the 4 tmes i was stopped for running with illegal/tinted/no front plate
