Mangold 0
Ok guys and girls, its that dreaded time of the year for me and the Highline. Where are you all getting the best quotes from at the moment? The car is modified. Last year I got it through Adrain Flux (NIG).Thanks in advanceVince
VR6Steve 0
We have all of ours with Greenlight. Did the trick for us. No modification seems to be a problem.

Glyn Mk3 0
I'm with elephant, not sure what they are like for modified cars though!
ninja 0
I'm with Adrian Flux but with Highway. No prob's with modified car but the policy doesn't allow driving any other car like most other policies do. If they'd told me before I took out the policy (which they didn't) I could have changed it but I'm not allowed to change mid term.Worth bearing in mind if you do drive other cars occasionally. jonvr6highline 0
I'm with Elephant! That is with modifications declared. I found them very reasonable in price and also able to drive any other (with owners permission) vehicle, on the policy! [ golfvr6011smaller.jpg ]

Both cars ended up with Greenlight (along with the other halfs 2 as well) and got a much better deal.

Mangold 0
at the mo guys the elephant is winning, although they insure you with mods they won't replace modified patrs if stolen, they will only give you OE replacements : (
binliner 0
I think Greenlight replace modified for modified
Mangold 0
cool, will be ringing them no doubt for a quote.
six appeal 53
Yeh they do Justin as long as you can provide photocopies of the original reciepts for the mods. But they ask for all that info. upfront so saves all the hassle if you should ever have to make a claim.
vrPat 0
Performance Direct - cheapest for me by a long way and I tried every one of the others listed on this thread - phone number is: 0870 458 4108 hope it helps!
VR6Steve 0
Greenlight do ask about everything, bar your insde leg measurement. I suppose at least it cuts down on the arguements in the event of a claim. :-)[ Edited Fri Feb 06 2004, 03:45PM ]
