jeggy 0 Posted September 5, 2007 Report Share Posted September 5, 2007 Hi there car is going into bodyshop to get painted shortly and i was wondering if anyone knew how i could get the mirrors from a mk4 fit a mk3. the bodyshop will be able to fit the mirror but is there a way for the wiring so that the mirrors work any ideas would be greatthanksJ Link to post Share on other sites
mike 6 Posted September 5, 2007 Report Share Posted September 5, 2007 how are tehy fitting mk4 mirrors? the bases are different? i have baught a set of 3.5 cabrio mirrors wich are basicly mk4 miros with mk3 bases..they needed soem triming but the wiring is the same.i imagine you would have to chop plugs off teh mk4 ones and fit mk3 plugs?
