....and for the record...hmmm too much bar-room barracking going on in the world, people are forming opinions based on what the gutter press are suggesting...whereas let's face it. The Portuguese police didn't give a monkeys in the first 7 days of the child's disappearance. Their attitude is that the child was left alone and therefore the parent's fault. The Spaniards/Portuguese/Italians/most Europeans are VERY heavily family orientated people. So what with the reputation of Brits abroad they probably didn't give a sh1te at first, until it became worldwide news. And because they failed miserably in the vital early stages of the investigation, they are clutching at straws in order to close the book, get the spotlight turned away from them and get on with some other crimes in their country instead of aiding foreigners on their turf.

If put under severe negative pressure I am sure many many people would crack under the strain and confess to crimes they did not commit. There are numerous famous cases of people being framed by bullying police all too desperate to get their figures in for the end of the month.

I'm keeping a very open mind at this stage. I cannot understand how any mother would choose to deliberately kill their own child, especially one of three. I cannot believe even with his medical knowledge the father deliberately gave the children an overdose of sedatives, panicked and then 'disposed' of the body.

There has been one suspect all along, this Murat comedian. Even his ex-wife based over here has expressed her suspicions about him, but as he's not under our jurisdiction it's going to be difficult to get him pinned down, and of course he has a very clever lawyer!

I can remember clearly the case of Louise Woodward, a girl from Chester way who was accused by the kangaroo courts of the United States of shaking a baby under her care. The parents were in the medical profession I recall (or were they lawyers, something like that)...they had money and influence and rather than accept there could have been any kind of accident or medical condition that caused their son to die, they chose to frame their young, English, naive defenceless nanny, who had no support whilst 3,000 miles away from home.

Not asking anyone to agree with me, but I'm rather cynical and am not looking to lay blame at this stage. (there, that keeps me out of court for libel..lol)

my view is............THEY DID IT!!!

maybe im cynical? but every time i see someone paraded on tv weeping about their "murdered" or "missing" relative you just know that 80% of the time they have had involvement or actually did it!!! look at the "road rage" killer..that nutty blond phsyco bird who made up the elaborate "road rage" story after she stabbed her boyfriend to death.....and the old biddy in Kent who had her husband shot on their doorstep by soem assasins for insurance money' date='....the list goes on.......

So Nick going by that and what was on the news last night

you would blame the Mum & Dad for bumping off their 15 year old

daughter Rosemary Edwards?

[blockquote] Quote from the BBC [/blockquote]

[blockquote]The parents of a "popular" 15-year-old girl who has been missing for six days

have begged their daughter to return to the family's Hampshire home.

Rosemary Edwards left the house in Wellington Close, Dibden Purlieu,

after an argument on Tuesday night.

After a search involving land, air and sea failed to find her,

extra police were drafted in on Sunday to help.

The teenager left home without her mobile phone and does not have any cash with her,

a police spokeswoman said.

The search is now focused on Hythe, two miles from Dibden.

Her father, Robert Edwards, an electronics consultant, said:

"Rosemary, please come home. You haven't done anything wrong.

We all love and miss you terribly. [/blockquote]

GUILTY!

I see they are playing down the DNA evidence:

BBC NEW WEBSITE:

[blockquote] Gerry McCann has described events as "an unending nightmare"

A judge is to begin examining police files about the disappearance of four-year-old Madeleine McCann.

He has 10 days to consider the 1,000-page dossier and review evidence involving Madeleine's parents, who were named as suspects last week. [/blockquote]

[blockquote]The car was searched by sniffer dogs in early August and the McCanns'

family said detectives had put it to Mrs McCann that her daughter's blood had been found inside.

But Portuguese police have played down reports that DNA evidence

with a 100% match to Madeleine was found in the car.

Its like playing hangman with a pendulum

I got caught once wearing my ex-wifes high heel boots,

QUOTE from

http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=1458352007 Sotsman below :

[blockquote]"POLICE believe missing youngster Madeleine McCann was buried in

a roadworks trench outside a church, according to reports.

Portuguese media claimed last night the police were planning to launch a d

ramatic dig in the hope of finding traces of the girl who has been missing since May.

However, they say they do not expect to find the youngster herself,

as they do not believe it was her final resting place....

According to reports, police believe the couple only buried their daughter,

who would now be four, outside the Church of Our Lady of Light temporarily.

They claim DNA evidence from the family's car, which was rented 25 days later,

proves she was later moved. As the massive hunt for Madeleine developed,

the McCanns went to the church every day to pray.

They were even given a key by priest Jose Manuel Pacheco, a close personal friend.

He was reported as saying: "I find it perfectly normal that police would carry out new searches - including the church." [/blockquote] http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=1458352007
