peteec 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Report Share Posted September 9, 2007 Hi all, Great forum glad i found it!i have a problem some of you more techhy guys might be able to help me with.I drove to pick up my friend a week or so ago and it drove alway into town without any problem,but while i sat idling waiting for him it cut out,and hasn't gone since.I have an injector pluse,i have a spark from the coil to the dizzy,but i'm getting nothing back out to the plug,so i decided on a dizzy cap and rotor arm would fix my problem......However it didn't,i still have a good spark into the cap but nothing coming back out,the shaft on the dizzy is definalty turning the rotor arm and the cap is new,so is rotor arm,but still nothing back out to the plug's....has anyone got any ideas what to try next???Starting to pull my hair out a bit now!Thanks for any help in advance Link to post Share on other sites
M4VTY 0 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Share Posted September 17, 2007 take a look at my thread which is posted in this section "VW dealership borke my car"apparently this happened whrn my VR6 went sick whilst it was in a VW dealership,when I know hopefully tomorrow and I get my VR back I will post a reply on my thread. M4VTY 0 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 I got my VR back, the reason for the non starting was apparently fuse 14 or 15 in the main fusebox, take a look at those, I'm not sure what these fuses are for as I dont have the book for the car that tells you.good luck & let us know Link to post Share on other sites
