Whether you are n/a or FI, there's no difference I can see in that it stops the manifold heating up as quickly as it would without one of these in it. philbatesvr6 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Share Posted September 22, 2007 thing is though with the vr6 engine the inlet goes over the top of the engine and get hott any way so wouldnt it be better the wrap the inlet first ? and also have a heat sheild and cold air feed the th a air filter first ?
