M4VTY 0
Either a head gasket or your thermostat get's stuck open. try changing the thermostat that's the chaper option.
VR6_ROB 0
I have just changed that few weeks ago but it was doin it before then
MaidenVR6 26
When your water pump is finished, it starts to leak water. Check that. Remember that the water system on a VR6, is a common problem.
craggsy 91
If you changed your thermostat did you crack the housing putting it on. As it won't leak under pressure but will when stationary
VR6_ROB 0
it leaked before the thermostat was fitted they is no signs of leaking when it is stationaryi can plod about normal and it will be greatas soon as i hammer it the water goes downwould the pump leak under pressure? mannie 0
How much water are you losing ? And you have replaced all the seals in the thermo housing ?
rodney 17
You have a couple of options really. Does it happen when you rev or when under driving load only???Does the water level in the expansion tank alter as you rev it???What I am trying to understand is if you have a blockage (maybe air) somewhere which could be working its way out. Or if you have a pinprick somewhere on a hose or gasket which causes the leak under pressure. Usually if it is things like the water pump it is very obvious as a leak under the car.Don't forgeet to look at the connections into the heater as well as they flow through that way also. The very solid pipes does hint at the pressure building and remaining.Hope it helps

Giles 0
Try checking your water pumps dude. I have the exact same symptoms (losing water, rock hard hoses, etc.) and both of my water pumps (electric AND mechanical) are goosed. It's in on Monday for new items.Take off a coolant hose and see of there's any water flow with the engine running.Hope this helps... Giles.
