craggsy 91
Whichever ones you can afford. I got the blue as I already had blue samcos. But you will have to take the notches out of the holders as they wont fit with them in from 8mm on
bobda 0
What are the benefits of uprated HT leads? Is it a bit like those rip-off uprated speaker cables you can get?
craggsy 91
You don't need to uprate em at all. Just new standard leads will perform better than old worn and probably split HT leads. I uprated mine as I could guarantee the colour I wanted.Uprated speaker cables DO make a difference in sound quality. Just try running a sub with cheap wire from halfords, it wont happen and will probably burn out
bobda 0
I don't mean speaker cables in cars, I was more talking about the oxygen-free, directional, made by virgins in Hawaii, £15/metre stuff that HiFi shops try and sell you, when all you need in reality is a decent thickness cable, capable of taking the power you feed into it! mannie 0
Get the Hi Fi dealers to give you a demo.If you can't Hear the difference between your cable and oxygen-free ,then don't buy oxygen-free or if your hi-fi is crap ,using a pair of £200 cable ain't going to improve your sounds.Let your Ears tell you which cable you need .Happy listening.
