blondie 0
how much would ppl be lookuing to buy a genuine tt interior for? All leather with airbags abs mint. Ive been offered to swap my porsche turbos for it and Im REALLY tempted.
Earwig 89
TT Interior is very possible but an enormous amount of work. The few people that have done it, most say they would never do it again !If you have time and the knowledge to do it yourself it's not so bad as you only need the interior which for everything might set you back around £1k at least !To get someone willing to do it you gotta be looking at at least £2-3kI don't know why, but I am sure I read somewhere fo something like around 30 hours labour to do it ! :-(Can't beat the interior though ! Love it ! Just not the baseball type seats.Mark.

Earwig 89
2000 for fitting? Must be joking ask on e38 or try pm'g 76 swallowtail may be able to advise Bt got to say be no were near 2k We are talking a total interior which needs to be mounted on custom built frames (At least from what I hear)Also the centre console needs to be modded along with the gear stick etc....It's not a case of cutting a dash and monting it onto existing brackets.Mark. ad24gti 0
Thought it was just seats Dash fitted is 500+ then and speak to jay renshaw on e38
blondie 0
Mark u seem to be confused. Its jsut the seats not a total tt interior. It comes with all the moutning brackets u need. ONly thing is it has no switches for the heated seats. Its low key, black leather and very mint.
gav_113 0
ive seen a mk3 wit a full TT interior in it, and its a massive job... tbh i didnt like it, it doesnt suit the car... mind u just the seats may be ok...
Focker-out 0
TT Dashes are a no no in a MK3 with Jay Renshaw, spent 6 months trying to convince him to do another, the front seats are the same as mk4 seats, need to be mounted on a custom bracket which makes them stupidly high at the front of the seat, and if you have short legs, they aint very comfortable, other way around it is to modify the bracket on the floor of the car, but the trade off is you cant swap back to original seats. The rear seats tho, that IMO shouldn't be done, they are far too narrow to work in a mk3., but they can be done, just wouldnt look right
blondie 0
ok people not sure how many ties I can say it but IT ISNT THE DASH it is just the seats. Looking at the pics they arent disimilar to highline recaros so wudnt look daft.

Looking at the pics they arent disimilar to highline recaros so wudnt look daft. Your topic title was TT Interior, not TT seats ;-)This is why I mentioned the amount of work -)Unless going for the whole hog it would look silly IMO. Rear seats will not really go in, you will have cloth door cards etc. . . .Mark.
