hey youve got a green more door like mine!

id keep trolling the for sale sections as at the minute theres some adjustable coilovers for a decent price - and ive got a K+N panel filter for sale too if ur interested.

what ive found is that people on here are generally a friendly bunch and if youve got any Q's or wanna buy something for your car the chances are someone on here will know or have what you need - well thats in my experience!

I like the wheels mate' date=' its good to go for something different :)

If it was me the next thing on my list would be to lower it with some new suspension - makes a huge difference to the ride and driveability of the car and as a bonus they look much cooler lower ;)

I like OE wheels for a lot of reasons; strength, fit, understated... but lot of people do the Audi thing and I didn't want to follow that crowd so a set of Seat rims fitted the bill instead. They're 16's off a mk4 Seat Ibiza which has the right size tyres for the mk3 Golf.

Yep 5-doors is good with the family. I found vr6oc.com after having done the deal on mine but am finding that it is a great site full of useful advise and really nice people. I have been and still am a member of SEATCupra.net which is also a great site (and source of my new wheels) and what got me into forums.

Coilovers will have to wait as I paid over the odds for the car. I'm watching a CDA induction kit at the moment on ebay but thanks for the offer of the panel filter anyway.

Cheers. M

What size are the tyres on it mate ??

The car is in at the supplying dealers at the mo to have the exhaust refitted as it was blowing at the joints so I can't check to be 100% sure but I'm fairly confident that they're 205/45R16 tyres.

If you are interested in some rims yourself check these out: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=143633

These are from the same chap that I bought the Ibiza wheels from and look great. £300 delivered is a fantastic price and they'll be a direct fit to a VR6.
