amazak 3
Hello,My right rear tyre is scrubbing on the arch. I know this is a common problem if the car is lowered but my vr has standard suspension. The alloys are 17" Audi TT wheels, not sure what the ET is and the profile is 205/40. The left side has no issues at all, seems to be affecting the right only, could this mean that the shock is damaged? It scrubs even if there are no passengers in thh back and when I go over bumps. If there are passengers then it scrubs also at roundabouts?[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1193325571_5799_FT0_image_046.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1193325587_5799_FT0_image_047.jpg][/lightbox]
Ciaran 4
it's because the suspension is so soft mate i have 17's and this is how low my car is and it never rubs even 5 up[img width=600]http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y46/ciaranboylan/vr116.jpg[img width=600]http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y46/ciaranboylan/vr099.jpgResized pics, craggsyModerator edit by: craggsy

SankysVR6 1
On some Mk3 the rear axle tends to stick the wheel out more on one side. Was reading about this on the E38 forum seems to be quite comman to some Mk3's.
