Project-VR6-38 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 hey guys, im stripping my engine at the minute and i have come to the point of removing the head bolts.it looks to me like they are tor-x head bolts but i have been informed that this is not the case!!does anybody know what tool is required to remove the head bolts, and if there is any other strange tools that i will require????thanks,keith Link to post Share on other sites

Lizard Racing 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Share Posted October 30, 2007 E-TORX (inverted torx) most likely for head bolts been a few years since Ive seen a standard one so not 100% sure. Possibly E12.Driveshaft bolts are M10 triple square drive I think. Link to post Share on other sites

Im in the middle of stripping my engine at the mo and took the head bolts out yesterday. Link to post Share on other sites
