amazak 3
woodz77,Had the same issue, had to buy 4 new 205/40's. Paid around £33 ea for budget tyres, could not afford anything better at the time.

amazak 3
Yeah, It was also fitted by the store, so total was around £40 ea incl balancing. Got them from Rtec St Albans link here if anyone is interested... http://www.rtecshop.com/index.php?p=product_view&product_id=6308#
amazak 3
Oh yeah forgot to mention that my alloys got slighly scrathed in the process, but I did not mind as I had done the refurb myself and it was not the perfect job so yeah, but from the equipment I saw in the store tells me these guy's are really serious when it comes to aftermarket bits, maybe I got a trainee working on my set?? Also you are probably a few miles from them as Hatfield is in Hertfordshire as well??
woodz77 0
they are just round the corner from me . but ive had a couple of things from there and always had a prob with them . none of my mates will touch them with a barge pole . they have a lot of good toys there . but it took them over an hour to fit 1 new wheel and tyre to my old bmw and then it was the wrong tyre !!!! the list i know about them goes on and on and on ! amazak 3
Yeah I was a bit surprised when I got my alloys back slightly damaged. Maybe just pick the tyres up and have them fitted somewhere else? It is a good price as the tyre shops around north london wanted £50 ea, the cheapest.
