crish72 0
Got my arches rolled yesterday (Wide-Wheels - top bloke!) but i've still got something catching on my rear passenger wheel area...not all the time, only when i go over large bumps i hear a brief scraping noise(almost like a mudflap on road noise)Now ive bounced up and down on all 4 corners and cant see anything catching anywhere,so any clues as to what it might be? The tyre isnt marked either...Odd that it's only coming from one of the rears...Chris
amazak 3
Have a look here, apparently "On some Mk3 the rear axle tends to stick the wheel out more on one side" so although you make have rolled the arches it might still be cathing a little? but then again you should be able to see the marks on the tyre *-) http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?202781
Jimjon 28
does the pipe from fuel filler run within the rear arch?i've had problems with wheels rubbing on that with a previous car
crish72 0
i think it's the rear bumoer that doesnt quite sit right, so the corner that joins the arch is catching...
