1998VR6yellow 0
ok i have a 1998 VW Golf GTI VR6 everytime i hit the pedal about 1.1 rpm the engine skaes for a little bit. it almost feels like it doesnt have gas. for example i am driving 20 mph and i put it in 2nd gear and hit the pedal. car sakes all the way till 3 rpm then it feels fine then when i hit 4 rpm then it shakes again and at 4.5 rpm it feels normal. 1998VR6yellow 0
could it be the timing belt????
jaysVR6 2
Oh dear, a VR owner that doesn't no much about his engine! A garage may rape you if you go in and ask to change the timing belt! lolFYI The VR doesn't have a timing belt, it's chain driven and if the timing is out, your engine may be close to self destruction! Sounds like plugs or leads or both to me mate.
