top fill radiator???

Recommended Posts

For a road car you will not be able to run your car without the expansion tank ' date='not for long anyway, you'll need to keep top up with coolant or have your fans running all the time.

Surly if the top fill rad has a expansion tank built into it, it wouldn't be a problem??

there was a thread on edition38 about some one making a piece of stailess pipe with a filler cap on it that would go in place of the header tank and fit on the rad pipes so it would all be in line and with it having the cap on it would mean it could still boil over etc etc and you would not need a top fill radiator

may be a more exspensive but may be worth it for the overall quality, fit and saving on time twatting around trying to find a suitable rad, get one made using the original as a pattern, or possible mod an OE one? worth getting a quote anyway
