tompo1979 0 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 Hi guys ive got my MOT in couple of weeks have Ramair filter and full Milltek with a Decat pipe,car runs perfect..Anyway ive read posts before saying get your car tested and as lng as it dnt fail on emmisions then you dnt need the cat in place! Ihave the cat in my garage but no mean of putting it on..What do you guys think i should jst try it or replace cat first? thanks in advance :-d Link to post Share on other sites
mike 6 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 nah im pretty sure you need a CAT regardless of emisions becuase its required by law ect...and without a cat it almost deffo will fail on emissions i reckon. you could try your luck and see if it will pass.... but you probably will need to have it put back on for the test...the mot place might do it for you Link to post Share on other sites
gav_113 0 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 i just had mine MOT'd... i have No cat..if u have no cat it should fail... mine passed somehow because the bloke said it was on the changeover yr?? its a 1992.. he said it lists for both on that yr?? i would say just try it u never know...?
