kilokilla 0
Thats a bit of a bizarre question mate are you getting a lot of travel becasue if so your brake system probably wants looking at as generally the travel is pretty much the same as most cars or is there some other reason you want to reduce the travel ?Carl. ThermalP4 1
Well i think the pedal goes down too far myself. Compared to my 2005 Passat 1.9 TDi there's a big diff, but i put that down to it being a newer car. When I had my coilovers fitted the VW techie said the pedal felt fine so It might just be me. adam_christie 0
VR6 Brakes are a bit spongy anyway aren't they? Well mine are. Saying that, I haven't had the fluid changed so that might sort it out.The only real way to reduce brake pedal travel is to get stainless braided flex pipes.
vr6g 0
alright men, the first thing i'd recommend is a set of braided lines, they made a hell of a difference to my brakes.
kilokilla 0
lol you could always remove the servo air pipe you wont get hardly any travel then ,your brakes would be well crap but no travel sorry im not helping much the passats i have had have had the same sort of travel as the golfs but i have come across both with lots of travel generally down to needing a goosd fluid change or a bit of air in system try giving the system a bleed and see what improvements they make also when you are bleeding them see if you can get some racing blue brake fluid cos this seems to work really well.Carl.
