right ive decided on wheels, somethin nice n standard lookin, these borbet cb's i think... i dont know whether to get 16's or 17's, im tempted by 17's as i think theyll look betta as theyll fill the arch but will it affect acceleration noticably?? plus my car is lowered so wil 17x7 be a problem on the arches??

17's should not affect accleration much. I have 17x7 wheels on my car lowered on coilovers no arch problems at all. Only had a slight problem clearing the calliper because of type of wheel but was all sorted by grinding down the calliper a little.

17's should be ok, mine is 60mm lowered with 7,5 J and cathes slightly on the arches...

17's do fill the arches nicely but 16's will give you a better ride - imo

16s all the way......ive had everything from 9" wide to my current 7" and 8" wide 928 S4s and 8" merc wheels

17s do affect acceleration a fair bit imo if you are going from 15s i prefer 16s aswell they give a nicer ride than 17s but again thats my opinion.Carl

16's all the way if your on a drop - too rough on 17's imo.

Im on 17" and i did notest a drop in acceration, Put coliovers on at the same time so donno about the change in ride altho it seemed to handle very well. I got very very low and alittle abit of arch rolling sorted that out.
