l1_lbk 0
Still have loads to go on, new alloys which are getting sprayed this week, bucket seats, steering wheel and coilovers. Will keep it all posted,
H19LNE 0
Very nice i like it, Looks like a good job done on the respray. Is this going to be a track car? Got any future mods planned?
l1_lbk 0
it was going to be a track car, but now its gonna be road worthy to. Engine wise i really undecided as wanted to turbo it, but as you can see in one of pics i doing me house up and money really needs to go into that. so may just supercharge it as it alot cheaper. But for now i just gonna leave it standard as havent had the chance to hear the roar of v6 with induction kit, once that wears off i'll charge it.
l1_lbk 0
New brakes discs, pads, bearings and coilovers have gone on today, and wheels have now been sprayed(not the wheels on car). just need 2 tyres and they will be on. Hoping to get it on road for middle of jan. cant wait, need to hear the sound of v6 again.
Phat VR6 3
Very nice mate. Fit manual wing mirrors aswell, You be surpriced how much lighter they are from the electric onces and once there set up there no need to move them.Im going to hit perspect in the front doors aswell as you can take them out again for MOT or shows. Also have you notest how you can take the metal bar/ side impact protection out of the doors?Quick qwestion. Where did you get your rollcage from and is it a full rollcage (through the dash) sutable for a car with a sunroof. weld in or bolt in? Show or proper use race??What wheels have you got planned for itKeep up the good work, Its going to be a nice motor
l1_lbk 0
cheersI not sure what the wheels are called but they the six spoke from audi tt sprayed black. The roll cage is an OMP one which i brought from this forum but they sell them on ebay and demon tweeks for £300. It doesnt go thu the dash, i will get better pic for you. It is bolted in but me mate is welder so will get it welded to, that ment to be better then just bolts.Didnt notice the bars in door, will have to have a look at weekend. l1_lbk 0
all they did was cut a very thin sheet of steel, which was the same shape as sun roof but bigger so it over lapped. then as far as i no they just put a few welds around and some kind of sealent to stop it leaking. It does stand proud a couple of mill but doesnt look to bad. will try get pic for you.
