hello people.

Nice forum. Great info. Have a few questions about the r32 conversion in a mk2 golf.

What kind of prices am i looking at for the complete r32 running gear with 4wd running gear attached?

What kind of price am I looking at if i wanted someone to fit this? (most likely fit it myself)

Im guessing its the case of...

VR6 subframes, vr6 gearbox, mk2 golf driveshafts, send the ecu off to a specialist etc etc

Ive heard that these engines are as light as a 16v engine? Tell me this is true lol

any tips and info would be great

thank you :)

Keeping the 4 wheel drive would put the price up alot?? If thats what you where on about doing, But 20k does sound alot,

I recon you could do a standard R32 front wheel drive convertion including standalone ECU for about 5k if you did it your self

No way a R32 is as light as a 16v would say the 16v alot lighter

I paid £1800 for my r32 engine' date='gearbox, loom, ecu etc etc

Im using the 02m 6 peed gearbox just running the front wheels,

The engine conversion into a corrado cost me £2k

Fair play.. that sounds evil.. So what did you have to do with the drive shafts to get the O2m box into the rado? And do you fit a blanking plate where the transer box used to go?
